Touch The Rim With A Bunch Of Awkward White Guys

“This one goes out to all those ground-bound dudes with the slow twitch fiber,” begins Touch the Rim. And really, any song that starts with that is a winner. It could be a fusion of opera, country music, and go-go, and I’d still love it. There can never be enough odes to unathletic white guys.

Also, the song’s not even about dunking—it’s all about touching the rim, which is the standard by which white guys judge each other’s athleticism. ... Pathetic? You bet!

“Can you dunk?”

“Ha, no. But I can totally get rim.”
