BMW Championship, Round 3: Ryan Moore Leads Entering Sunday

Ryan Moore might well be entering a second phase of his golf career. But to truly make that leap, he’ll have to finish what he’s started at the BMW Championship.

Moore shot a 5-under 66 in the third round to get to 8-under for the Championship, and will take a one-shot lead over Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, and Charlie Wi into the fourth round.

Round 3 of the BMW Championship is underway on Saturday, and Matt Kuchar and Charlie Wi have yet to break away from one another in the front nine. Kuchar and Wi are both 2-under through the first five holes, and share the tournament lead at 8-under.

Ryan Moore has gained sole possession of third at 6-under, having shot 3-under through seven holes on Saturday. Standing alone at fourth place on the leaderboard is Marc Leishman, who is shooting even after a 6-under performance in Round 2.
