James Madison QB Dudzik: ‘This Is The Biggest Win In School History’
A friend of mine -- and fellow James Madison alum -- was in Blacksburg on Saturday for JMU’s historic upset of No. 13 Virginia Tech. She’s the one who snapped this picture that made its way around the various social media platforms:
After the game, various messages from her detailed how the JMU fans wouldn’t leave Lane Stadium; described the win as “better than Chattanooga” -- where the Dukes won the 2004 FCS National Championship; and then nearly three hours later: “I’m still in shock.”

You probably could have guessed that James Madison kids would completely lose their cookies after JMU’s historic upset over Virginia Tech. Well, here is video from Harrisonburg of James Madison kids completely losing their cookies.
It’s essentially Cloverfield minus the giant monster and man-eating spiders. Replace all the “WOOO”s with “AAIIEEEEEE”s, and this is a very different video.

Virginia Tech’s fate was sealed with a “roughing the punter” call in the final seconds, and with that, James Madison University has pulled off the biggest upset that college football has seen in years.
JMU entered hostile Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, and rallied from a 16-7 deficit to knock out the No. 13 Hokies. This is easily the biggest moment in the history of the school’s athletic program, and appropriately enough, the Dukes stormed Lane Stadium after the whistle and made it their own.

Just when 13th-ranked Virginia Tech was set to take back the lead on Saturday, JMU forced a huge fourth-quarter fumble to retake possession.
The Hokies had the ball at the Dukes’ 12-yard line, but a helmet to the football caused Darren Evans to fumble, and James Madison pounced on it.

James Madison University is now in position to deliver a massive upset in Blacksburg. Against No. 13 Virginia Tech, JMU intercepted a Tyrod Taylor pass and mounted a drive that ended with a touchdown run from quarterback Drew Dudzik.
The Division I-AA Dukes are coming off an unremarkable 4-4 season. The Hokies, meanwhile, are hoping to rebound from a nationally-televised 33-30 loss to Boise State.

In Blacksburg on Saturday afternoon, massive underdog James Madison is putting a scare into 13th-ranked Virginia Tech. JMU just scored on a touchdown run late in the third quarter to bring the score to 16-14 in favor of the Hokies.
