Notre Dame QB Dayne Crist Misses Half, Returns To Game Vs. Michigan

During the first quarter of Saturday’s Notre Dame-Michigan game, Fighting Irish quarterback Dayne Crist left with an apparent injury and missed the rest of the first half. From CBS Sports:

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly told a TV interviewer at the half that Crist got banged up during the first series and wasn’t clear enough to return to the game.

Crist, however, returned to action in the second half and promptly threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Jones. The exact nature of the injury is unclear; as soon as we learn more, we’ll update.
