Patriots: Julian Edelman Likely Out, Wes Welker Wearing Knee Brace

The Boston Globe’s Albert Breer updates two Patriots wideouts’ conditions:

Julian Edelman boarding elevator. Looks like he won’t play.One more note from the field -- Welker does have a brace over his left knee. He’s hoping to shed it, play w/o it as soon as he can.Edelman has been limited in practice this week. Welker is recovering from a torn ACL and MCL suffered in a January game against the Houston Texans last season.
