VIDEO: Leonard Weaver’s Gruesome Knee Injury

Certainly this is not a video for the squeamish considered that it brought on of Leonard Weaver’s Eagles teammates to the point of nausea. On a run early in the second quarter, Weaver had his left leg held upright by Packers linebacker Nick Barnett as nose tackle B.J. Raji dropped his weight on Weaver’s upper body, forcing Weaver’s knee to bend over on itself.

At this point, Weaver’s injury has been listed as a sprain. No less estimable source than Will Carroll called it one of the worst NFL injuries he’s ever seen.

Leonard Weaver’s might be worst Ive seen since Nap McCallum (which is worst I’ve ever seen in NFL).

Suffice it to say, even the injury doesn’t turn out to be as severe as most observers assume it will be, it certainly will go down as one of the ugliest in recent memory.
