Arian Foster had a franchise-record 231 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the day, picking up a Texans offense that was far less potent through the air than it was in 2009. Foster also helped keep the Colts off the field, as the Texans picked up 15 first downs via their ground game.
Peyton Manning could have used a little more time. After three lackluster quarters, Manning threw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth, setting a new career high and franchise record with 40 completions for the game. But, for once, Manning’s customary brilliance wasn’t enough to lift the Colts over the Texans.
