Matthew Stafford Knocked Out Of Game After Julius Peppers Sack

Lions QB Matthew Stafford just met new Bears DE Julius Peppers.

Peppers sacked Stafford knocking him to the ground and ultimately out of the game.

Stafford went to the sidelines and took his jersey and shoulder pads off. He came back out after halftime with his arm in a sling.

The Lions are saying it's a right shoulder injury. Last year against the Browns, Stafford injured that same shoulder and came back into the game to throw a touchdown pass.

Shaun Hill replaced Stafford at quarterback for the Lions.

Check out Pride of Detroit for more on the injury.
