Week 1 NFL Scores And Results: Dolphins Beat Bills 15-10, Limit C.J. Spiller In Debut

The Bills are expected to be one of the worst teams in the 2010 NFL season yet there they were still in the game against the Dolphins with less than two minutes left.

The Bills, down 13-10, lined up on their own one yard line and QB Trent Edwards was sacked. That gave the Dolphins the ball back and essentially ended the game.

C.J. Spiller's debut didn't go as planned rushing the ball seven times for just six yards. He added four receptions for eight yards.

This wasn't a game of flashy quarterback play with Edwards completing 17-of-30 passes for 130 yards including a 31-yard touchdown pass to Roscoe Parrish. Dolphins QB Chad Henne responded with 182 yards with 21-of-34 passing.

The Dolphins scored on a one-yard Ronnie Brown run and Dan Carpenter added two field goals. They had a healthy split at running back with Brown taking 13 carries for 65 yards and Ricky Williams adding 62 yards on 18 carries.
