Steelers LT Max Starks Will Reportedly Miss A Month With High Ankle Sprain

The Steelers eked out a 15-9 victory over the Falcons on Sunday but they didn't come out of the game unscathed. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that left tackle Max Starks is expected to miss a month with a high ankle sprain.

Starks was seen walking out of the locker room with crutches and a boot on his foot.

Before the season, the Steelers signed long-time Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams so they have options.

However, when Starks went down on Sunday it was Jonathan Scott that replaced him at left tackle. Adams is currently playing right tackle for the Steelers and it's unclear if he'll slide to the left or if Scott will continue to keep that side.

If he does indeed miss a month, he would return for the Steelers week six game as they have a bye in week five. That would be just in time for the return of Ben Roethlisberger.

Check out Behind The Steel Curtain for more on the Max Starks injury.
