Report: Ryan Grant Out For Season With Ankle, Knee Injuries

Awful news for the Packers: Ryan Grant will miss the rest of the season and be placed on injured reserve by the team, according to FOX’s Jay Glazer.

This comes one day after the Packers confirmed that Grant would miss Week 2. Obviously, the extent of his injuries are much more serious, assuming Glazer’s report is accurate.

Brandon Jackson will move into the No. 1 running back spot with Grant out. (Hint, hint, fantasy owners.)

There are no specifics on Grant’s injuries yet, but he suffered some sort of right foot/leg injury during the first half of Green Bay’s Week 1 win against the Eagles.
