Burgundy Wave: Addition By Substraction Possible With Medhi Ballouchy’s Trade

Over at Burgundy Wave, SB Nation’s new Colorado Rapids blog, Chris White reacts to today’s trade, showing little concern that Medhi Ballouchy’s headed to Gotham:

Personally I think this could just as easily be addition from subtraction as anything, as Mehdi was not a favorite player of mine and I think seeing Wells Thompson or (gasp!) Claudio Lopez in his stead is an instant improvement in the midfield per week.If Wells Thompson and Claudio Lopez are looking like improvements, Ballouchy must have done something to get under that Rapid fan’s skin.
