Ryan Grant Officially Out For Season With Ligament Damage In Ankle

Earlier reports have been confirmed by the Packers: Starting running back Ryan Grant’s season is over after suffering ligament damage in his ankle during Week 1.

Grant took to Twitter after the news was announced, saying there was a chance he could have surgery and still come back late this season, but doing so would clog up a roster spot. So the decision was made to put him on IR.

Brandon Jackson now moves to the top spot on the depth chart.
