Nicolas Anelka Puts Chelsea Up 2-0 On Zilina

After contributing the last ball on Michael Essien’s opener, Nicolas Anelka has doubled Chelsea’s lead with a 24th minute goal at Zilina. Chelsea now leads the Slovakian champions 2-0.

Anelka’s left-footed finsh into the lower right hand corner gives the Blues two goals on as many shots on goal. Zilina has matched that shot total yet are still chasing two early.
