‘Survivor’ Finds A Way To Successfully Muss Jimmy Johnson’s Hair

Jimmyjsbn_medium

The first episode of Survivor: Nicaragua debuted on Wednesday night. This is noteworthy in the sports world because former college and NFL head coach Jimmy Johnson is among the contestants this season. While there have been several amusing pictures that have surfaced during his far more relaxing post-football life, being on Survivor is a wholly different context than anything we’re used to seeing Jimmy in.

After the jump, Jimmy reflects on the bizarre situation in which he finds himself, then begins crafting his strategy to use his considerable fame to charm the other candidates into letting him stick around. Through one episode, at least, it is an effective one. The show’s editors then capture him snapping a large tree limb for reasons unknown but likely hilarious.
