After all the hooting, hollering, horseplay and hubbub following Inés Sainz and her unfortunate day at Jets camp, the NFL has made its decision. And that decision is...training programs.
And So The Inés Sainz Incident Ends Exactly How You Expected
The will start a training program to remind each team of proper conduct in the wake of its investigation into the treatment of a female reporter in ’ locker room last week.
Woody Johnson, the Jets’ owner, will underwrite the program, which will begin this season and also be presented to rookies before each season.
The NFL interviewed a ridiculous amount of people to try and get to the bottom of all this. Their findings were that the Jets players were “juvenile, immature, unprofessional, uncomfortable and disappointing.”
No fines were handed out, at least not publicly. So now everyone will move forward, the NFL’s PR folks earned their paychecks and the Jets will never, ever speak to a woman who is within 500 yards of their locker room again. Everyone wins.
