There’s a lot to love in this video: the sweet play call on a fake screen combined with a wheel route, the gorgeous spiral Kyle Parker throws to the exact right spot in the end zone, and Brent Musburger’s enthusiasm for the play are all pluses.

↵But I’m not entirely sure Clemson running back Jamie Harper controls the ball all the way to the ground. It’s nearly impossible to be sure, but it seems to me that Harper’s right hand slips to the side of the ball as he lands, and the ball moves ever so slightly. I could be wrong. I’d love to be proven wrong. One of the perils of this era of HD and DVRs and YouTube, though, is that ambiguity when there are facts to be had feels more like a missed opportunity for learning than ever.
