Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio won last night’s game against Notre Dame with a bold fake field goal in overtime, but it nearly came at an unthinkable cost. First tweeted by Michael Rosenberg of the Detroit Free Press, Dantonio had a heart attack shortly after the Spartans’ win.

↵Dantonio had a stent put in a blocked artery. Rosenberg also adds that it “looks like Dantonio will be OK and return to coaching before long.” In Dantonio’s absence, offensive coordinator will take his place.
