The Packers didn't need to do much to beat the moribund Bills. Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews did more than enough.
Week 2 NFL Scores And Results: Packers Blow Out Bills Behind Rodgers, Matthews
Rodgers threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns and added another with his legs, leading the Packers to a very easy 34-7 win over Buffalo.
The Bills were limited all day on defense, gaining just 186 total yards as Trent Edwards threw two interceptions and Matthews tallied three sacks.
Brandon Jackson was just adequate in his first start in place of the injured Ryan Grant for Green Bay, rushing for just 29 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
The lopsided result is what most expected, though: Green Bay proved it was one of the NFL’s better teams, and Buffalo showed that it is one of the league’s worst.
