Photo Of The Day: Reliving Auburn And Clemson (Aw, Poor Coke Tiger)

It was an eventful weekend in sports, but this was probably my favorite game of the weekend. Just because once Auburn started coming back, you knew Clemson was going to find a way to lose at the last second. And sure enough, an illegal snap penalty forced Clemson to re-kick an overtime field goal, which they missed.

And as Auburn celebrates...

Not going to lie... Cam Newton, I really like your style. Not here, but just in general.

And I don’t know enough about him to do it, but someone had better use this photo to make Auburn coach Gene Chizik look like an idiot. Because this guy’s definitely an idiot, right?

Meanwhile, per usual, Dabo Swinney gets his heart broken...

Which means that somewhere in a darkened back room, Coke Tiger weeps...

Or he would weep, but he can’t actually move his face right now. “THEY’RE ALWAYS TRYING TO STEAL WHAT WE EARN FAIR AND SQUARE,” he said, “BUT THAT’S OKAY BECAUSE NEXT WEEK’S A NEW WEEK WHICH MEANS A NEW TAILGATE WHICH MEANS PARRRRTY AND HEY WHO STOLE MY FIREWORKS?” Spencer’s Coke Tiger Memoir is probably one of my favorite things he does. And we couldn’t mention Clemson’s sorrows without a special shoutout to Coke Tiger, who is probably somewhere in Clemson right now, coming down from an epic bender, about to pass out for a solid 36 hours.
