Colts vs. Giants: 2010 Is Not The Year Of The New York Defense

Colts vs. Giants in 2010 was not the story of the Manning brothers battling for each other for a victory. It was the story of Peyton Manning destroying the Giants defense.

Both the Giants offense and defense, according to SB Nation’s Big Blue View, didn’t know what hit them on Sunday night against the Colts.

I hate to sound like Jeremy Shockey, but the Giants absolutely did not look ready to play Sunday night. It's as disturbed as I've ever been watching a Tom Coughlin team. In a game I thought set up well to give the Giants a chance at what would have been an upset, it was obvious from the opening drive that they had no chance. A lot of that is on TC, who you guys know I believe is a terrific coach. I have no idea what the Giants were thinking, or trying to accomplish, Sunday night.

Peyton Manning had no trouble finding receivers against the Giants. He completed 20-of-26 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns. His precision helped the Giants get up to a 24-0 lead in the first half.
