Giants RB Brandon Jacobs Will Reportedly Ask For A Trade

Things aren't going so well for Giants RB Brandon Jacobs. He lashed out at a reporter last week asking, "You think I'm stupid?" This week, he "accidentally" tossed his helmet into the stands.

Now his week will probably get worse. According to Vinny DiTrani of the Bergen Record, Jacobs “will meet with Giants management today and ask to be traded.”

It seems like a good idea until you realize Jacobs has little, if any, trade value. Running backs in general aren’t very valuable because of their short shelf-life and that’s particularly true with a hard runner like Jacobs. It also doesn’t help that he’s reportedly lashed out at reporters two weeks in a row.

We’re not sure where this Jacobs situation will end up but SB Nation’s Big Blue View has it right: “Boy, this got ugly in a hurry.”

Check out what Giants fans are saying about Jacobs after this latest report over at Big Blue View.
