Report: Jerry DiPoto Not Returning To Diamondbacks

With the Diamondbacks bringing in Kevin Towers to serve as their new GM, one couldn’t help but wonder what would become of interim GM Jerry DiPoto. And, according to Ken Rosenthal, rumor has it that DiPoto will resign from the organization to pursue other opportunities elsewhere.

For a few years, now, DiPoto has been talked about as one of the up-and-coming general managers of the future, and now that he has some experience on the job, he could be an attractive piece in another team’s front office.
