The Week 2 NFL players of the week for the AFC have come in. The list includes one of the best receivers in the NFL, a former defensive player of the year and a kicker who was responsible for all of his team’s points in a victory.
Week 2 NFL Players Of The Week: Andre Johnson, James Harrison And Mike Nugent In The AFC
Offense: Texans WR Andre Johnson
Matt Schaub threw for 497 yards and 158 of those went to Johnson on 12 catches. That helped propel the Texans to a 30-27 victory over the Redskins.

Defense: Steelers LB James Harrison
Harrison dominated the Steelers win over the Titans. He had 10 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a recovered fumble.

Special Teams: Bengals K Mike Nugent
This was a no-brainer for Nugent. He scored all the Bengals points in a 15-10 victory over the Ravens. Those five field goals are a career high for him.
