Braylon Edwards Will Be Active But Won’t Start Against Dolphins After Arrest

Jets WR Braylon Edwards was arrested early Tuesday morning for DWI and by Wednesday was back at practice with his teammates.

There’s no word yet from the league on what kind of punishment he may face but Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum said on Tuesday night that Edwards would be active against the Dolphins on Sunday night but won’t start.

Tannenbaum says the issue of Edwards playing time will be determined by head coach Rex Ryan.

SB Nation’s Gang Green Nation and the rest of the Jets fans are already offering up their reaction to the news that Edwards will start on Sunday.
