Dana White refuted rumors of Vitor Belfort being injured as to the reason for his withdrawal from his UFC 122 bout with Yushin Okami by addressing the issue via Twitter.

Vitor is not injured. He is going to fight anderson for the title and the winner of marquart and okami are next.
This is certainly good news for fans after the let down of the Chael Sonnen fiasco. Belfort vs. Silva is a marketable marquee fight for the UFC, and an intriguing matchup for both fighters. Although Belfort hasn’t competed at middleweight for the UFC, there is no doubt that this is the fight fans want to see. This match has been years in the making and will hopefully no longer be held up by injuries on either side.
Marquardt vs. Okami is still a huge fight as it will determine who gets the next title shot.
