Vincent Jackson Trade Deadline Passes With No Deal Despite Vikings Interest

The trade deadline for Chargers WR Vincent Jackson has passed and no deal has been reached. If Jackson had been traded by the Chargers before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, he would have served only a four-game suspension. Since a deal was not done, he will face a six-game suspension.

That means the next trade opportunity for Jackson will be a very tight window. It can come after the Chargers Week 6 game on Oct. 17 and before the Oct. 19 NFL trade deadline.

it’s believed that the Vikings were one of the teams that were actively trying to trade for him. They’re missing Sidney Rice for the first six weeks of the season and Percy Harvin is battling a hip injury (and migraines).

Check out Bolts From The Blue to hear what Chargers fans think about keeping Vincent Jackson for now.
