One of today's marquee matchups takes place in Texas, where it's the Texans who are trying to go 3-0, while the Cowboys will try to avoid falling into an 0-3 hole.

It’s a new situation for both teams. The Texans are coming off the only winning season in franchise history, while the Cowboys have been touted as Super Bowl contenders for the latter half of the last decade.

The Texans and Cowboys met in the preseason, and Houston thumped its in-state competition, pressuring Tony Romo and winning, 23-7.
