Aroldis Chapman Wants ‘105MPH’ License Plate

Did you know that Aroldis Chapman has thrown a pitch that was clocked at 105 miles per hour? Did you know that Aroldis Chapman would like you to remember this fact while you are driving? Well, if you didn’t, Chapman is prepared to remedy the situation on both points by ordering new vanity plates, one of which is to read, “105MPH.”

After an inordinate amount of research, I’ve found that in Kentucky, the state where I’d imagine his plates are currently registered (he pitched in AAA-Louisville), “105MPH” is either taken or not allowed. Same story in Ohio. Bummer, Mr. Chapman. After the jump, I have another vanity plate idea that you’ll surely be interested in.
Okay, listen. For this you’ll need to buy 25 friends and make friends with 25 cars, or vice versa. Travel everywhere you go in an enormous, carefully-ordered motorcade. Register all these plates and signal to other travelers that you are good at baseball; specifically, the pitching of the baseball.
