TCU 14, Oregon State 14: Horned Frogs And Beavers Locked Up At Cowboys Stadium

Though LSU and North Carolina are playing tonight’s most buzzed-about game, TCU and Oregon State may end up playing the game of the night.

Midway through the second quarter, it’s all tied up, at TCU 14, Oregon State 14. The Beavers have been excellent through the air, with sophomore Ryan Katz hooking up with James Rodgers and Jordan Bishop on touchdown strikes of 30 and 34 yards, respectively, and converted on a fake punt to extend the drive that led to the second touchdown.

TCU’s four-year starter, Andy Dalton, has had a little less success. He tossed a bad pick in the first quarter that led to Oregon State’s first score, and has just 75 passing yards. But the Horned Frogs have been good on the ground, with Dalton, Ed Wesley, and Matthew Tucker all over 20 yards.

We’ll update this StoryStream as the action in Dallas continues.
