Karl Malone Says... ‘Golf Is A Waste Of Pasture Land’

It’s true. When you think about it, the we use for golf courses could be used for just about anything, and it’d be more productive.

As Malone elaborates in a bygone issue of Hoop Magazine:

I look at a golf course and all I see is how it would have been much better off as wilderness, where people could hunt, and fish, and enjoy the outdoors like I do.

You see, by building golf courses all over the country, Karl Malone says we’re shortchanging the natural beauty of the outdoors. We’re exploiting nature for our own self-indulgent pursuits. If we could all hunt and fish instead, then clearly, the world would be better off.

Why am I talking about a years-old treatise on golf from a retired NBA player? For one, because the accompanying picture is absolutely spectacular. And also... “Karl Malone Says”.

When Karl Malone speaks, we listen. You should, too. Because who the hell is Dow Jones?
