Both the Wyoming Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns are planning to memorialize Wyoming player Ruben Narcisse at Saturday’s game after the linebacker died in a car accident over the weekend.

Wyoming has designed helmet decals with Narcisse’s initials for all the players to wear, and some will take turns wearing Narcisse’s No. 12 jersey.

And Texas, which is hosting the Cowboys this weekend, plans a moment of silence before the game, and the band will honor Narcisse with a song, head coach Mack Brown said.

Brown himself lost a player, Cole Pittman, to an accident in 2001.
