NCAA Tournament Update: Terrance Hill Buzzer-Beater Ties Morehead State With Louisville
The 2011 NCAA Tournament hasn't gotten off to quite the start No. 4 Louisville would've preferred, with No. 13 Morehead State scoring a 33-33 tie at halftime. But that's actually good news for Ville fans, considering the opening minutes. When's the last time you saw a high seed start a March Madness game trailing 9-0? The Cards missed their first eight shots from the floor, but found their rhythm and began chipping away.
Morehead State lost the lead with about 27 seconds left in the first, when Kyle Kuric drilled a three-pointer, but countered with a buzzer-beating trey of their own by Terrance Hill.
Hill has 10 points and six boards, contributing to Morehead's lead on the boards. Chris Smith leads the Cards with eight points and six on the glass.
These teams have combined for 21 turnovers and are both shooting well under 45 percent. If you'd prefer to watch a much better game, we'll be right here with the final score and bracket update when it's ready.
