If you thought Kemba Walker and the Connecticut Huskies would have a hangover of sorts after winning the Big East Tournament, think again. The Huskies are routing No. 14 seed BYU in their first NCAA Tournament game, currently leading 39-22 at halftime.
NCAA Tournament Update: Kemba Walker, Connecticut Routing Bucknell At Halftime
The Huskies used a 12-2 run to close the half to give themselves a bit of a cushion against the Bison. Walker has been quiet scoring, with just six points, but is getting his teammates involved and already has eight assists and four rebounds. Jeremy Lamb has 11 for the Huskies, and Roscoe Smith added 10. The Huskies have also locked down Bucknell, holding them to 8-25 shooting from the field.
The winner of this game will play the winner between No. 6 seed Cincinnati and No. 11 seed Missouri.
