VIDEO: Kansas, Richmond Players Nearly Fight Before Sweet 16 Game

↵Let’s do a little role play here. You’re Kansas. You’re the number one seed in the Southwest Region of the NCAA bracket, and you’re playing a No. 12 seed in Richmond. If you win, you play either a No. 10 seed or a No. 11 seed. Things are good.

↵So obviously, it’s a perfect time to stir some things up. Prior to the game, the Richmond players were huddling up and preparing to take the court for warmups. Kansas didn’t seem to take too kindly to that, because its players decided to run straight into the Richmond players while they were running onto the court. That prompted Richmond players to respond, get into the Kansas players’ faces and ... do nothing. But they almost did something, so it’s noteworthy.

↵Kansas ended up routing Richmond on the court, acting like the big bully in a 77-57 win. I guess they were able to get the edge they needed to blow out a clearly inferior team. Congratulations, Jayhawks. The ends obviously justified the means.
