Final Four 2011 Game Times, Schedule, Location, Announcers, And More

The 2011 NCAA Tournament will conclude next weekend, as the Final Four begins on Saturday and concludes with Monday’s NCAA championship game. Mid-majors VCU and Butler will play in the first game of the Final Four schedule Saturday at 6:09 p.m., with established powers Kentucky and Connecticut following them at 8:49 p.m. The games will be broadcast on CBS.

Reliant Stadium in Houston will be the venue for the Final Four. Normally the home of the Houston Texans, Reliant Stadium has never hosted a Final Four game. The stadium will hold 76,000 people for the games, making this the largest venue in Final Four history.

As far as the announcers, Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg will be joined by a third man in the booth for the first time ever. Steve Kerr, who has been working with Marv Albert in the first few rounds of the NCAA Tournament, will join Nantz and Kellogg for game analysis, as part as CBS’ new partnership with Turner Sports. Tracy Wolfson, who has worked with Nantz and Kellogg throughout the NCAA Tournament, will do so again as the sideline reporter.
