It doesn’t look like either UConn or Kentucky is going to run away with their Final Four matchup.
UConn Vs. Kentucky, Final Four 2011: Wildcats Up 11-10 In Close Game
The Wildcats lead 12-11 in Houston, and have been able to limit UConn’s scorers so far.
Kemba Walker hasn’t been able to get untracked. He’s one-for-four from the field, and his only basket was a lay-up in transition; if he’s not able to get it going, that could spell doom for UConn. Six turnovers haven’t helped the Huskies, either.
UConn’s reserve forward Charles Okwandu has been a spark off the bench, contributing two points and one huge block that stopped a run of good play by Kentucky.
