Finally, UConn seems close to finding a flow in its Final Four game against Kentucky. It’s no shock that Kemba Walker has been instrumental in that development.
Final Four 2011, UConn Vs. Kentucky: 10-0 Run Helps Lift Huskies To 23-19 Lead
Walker’s first three of the game gave UConn a 14-12 lead, and a subsequent Kentucky turnover also helped swing momentum to a 10-0 UConn run. He has nine points total.
Since that run, play’s been back to its back-and-forth equilibrium, with five points from Brandon Knight helping buoy the Wildcats.
The Huskies’ scoring hasn’t been without its mitigating factors: UConn has seven turnovers, which have helped keep Kentucky close despite poor shooting.
