PHOTO: Brandon Knight Groin Taps Shabazz Napier

As Brandon Knight attempted to shield Shabazz Napier from the ball in the second half of Saturday's Final Four game between the Kentucky Wildcats and Connecticut Huskies, the viewing audience was treated to some unintentional hilarity. There's times when a hand can go astray and land in the most sensitive of places, which was the case as Knight accidentally hit Napier in the groin region.

That’s a nice way of saying Napier got nut-tapped. Check out the most excellent of freeze frames, taken by Eric Stangel (click to enlarge).

In most cases, we could say this was just an accident. Hands and other body parts tend to fly around during the course of the game, and these things tend to happen. But in this case? Well, perhaps it was a little malicious.

Consider Napier had just taken a dive worth of world-class soccer moments earlier to draw a foul under the basket. Maybe this was Knight giving him something to flop about for real this time. And Napier obliged, hitting the deck in pain and shock.

Karma can be a mother sometimes, can’t it?
