After trading turnovers and missed baskets, with both teams in the midst of a scoring drought, Tyra White broke the slump for Texas A&M, splitting the defense, hitting a lay-in and drawing the foul for a three-point play. Notre Dame Couldn’t come up with an answer missing yet another close one in the paint.

Danielle Adams asserted herself in the paint for Texas A&M, drawing the foul and getting to the line with a chance to tie it up. Adams was pure on both shots, and Texas A&M finally broke through to seize the momentum and knot the game at 48.
The scoring drought continued for Notre Dame as Skylar Diggins’ pull-up jumper from the free throw line was way off the mark. Texas A&M secured the rebound, almost gave it back up due to Notre Dame’s pressure and was forced to call a timeout with the game tied midway through the second half.
With just under 14 minutes to go, Notre Dame and Texas A&M are all tied up at 48.
