2011 NFL Mock Draft: Dallas Cowboys Select CB Aaron Williams

SB Nation's 2011 NFL mock draft continues with the Dallas Cowboys who have the 40th overall pick. The Cowboys went with OT Tyron Smith in the first round although some thought they could address the cornerback position. So Blogging The Boys has decided to go the cornerback route in the second round selecting Texas CB Aaron Williams.

Dan Kadar of Mocking The Draft thinks this would be another excellent pick for the Cowboys.

If this is how Dallas' draft turns out, the team would get an A. Both Smith and Williams are high-upside players. Williams in particular would be able to step into the team's starting lineup as a rookie and make an impact.

I like this draft a lot too because you have a nice combination of need and best player available. The Cowboys don't have to reach much because, despite their 2010 record, they're a very good team. QB Tony Romo will be back healthy and this is probably a playoff team.

For the full explanation of the pick, check out Mocking The Draft.
