2011 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Select OT Clint Boling

SB Nation's 2011 NFL mock draft is in the second round with the 54th overall pick the Philadelphia Eagles have selected OT Clint Boling. Bleeding Green Nation makes the pick arguing that a versatile offensive lineman is what the Eagles are looking for.

Frankly, I was a bit surprised to see Clint Boling still on the board at No. 53. The Eagles love versatile offensive linemen that can play all over the place. Boling has started at RT, RG and LT. They also have always loved athletic offensive linemen that can move around and pull, which Boling is known to do.

Dan Kadar from Mocking The Draft thinks this is a little high but I'm usually not going to knock safe picks like offensive linemen on the first two days. I like this pick as the Eagles figure out a way to protect QB Michael Vick.

For the full explanation of the pick, check out Mocking The Draft.
