2011 NFL Draft Results: Cameron Jordan Picked By New Orleans Saints
With the 24th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints finally ended Cameron Jordan’s wait. Jordan, a physical specimen at defensive end, was powerless to watch as team after team passed him over during Thursday’s first round.
Cameron Jordan’s chances of being a game-changing NFL defender depend on a lot of things, but his physical makeup gives him a good shot.
Jordan is tall and solidly built, and he’s got the speed to be a troubling edge rusher. But while he’s also been productive between the tackles in college, racking up 161 tackles over four years for Cal, the Cameron Jordan scouting report has question marks about his ability to make plays in space at the NFL level.
These highlights from a game against Colorado make Jordan look good, though.
