2011 NFL Draft Results: Detroit Lions Select Johnny Culbreath, Washington Redskins Take Brandyn Thompson

The seventh and final round of the 2011 NFL Draft continues with picks 209 through 213. Here they are:

209. The Detroit Lions select Johnny Culbreath, an offensive tackle from South Carolina State. He’s the first SC State Bulldog to be selected this year.

210.The Atlanta Falcons take Andrew Jackson. Not the President. Jackson is a 6’5” OL from Fresno State who tips the scales at 299 pounds. Jackson figures to serve as extra reinforcement for a line tasked with providing increased protection for quarterback Matt Ryan.

211. The San Francisco 49ers take defensive lineman Bruce Miller from Central Florida. This pick adds personnel to a defense that didn’t quite perform as advertised in 2010.

212. The Tennessee Titans select defensive tackle Zach Clayton from Auburn. Clayton joins a defensive squad that allowed fewer points than any other team in the AFC South.

213. The Washington Redskins take defensive back Brandyn Thompson from Boise State. He’s on the smaller side, standing only 5’9” and weighing 189, but is capable of adding speed to a defensive package.

Rounds 4 through 7 of the NFL Draft all take place on Saturday afternoon. Stay tuned to this StoryStream for live draft results.
