Clemson Tigers defensive end Andre Branch will head to the 2012 NFL Draft after closing out his senior season with the Tigers with double digit sacks. Branch enters the draft as a defensive end who is expected to go in the first three rounds and could get looks by teams that run both the 4-3 defense and a 3-4 defense. Branch ended the ACC season by rebounding off a poor game against Florida State with a four sack game against Virginia Tech.

Here is what SB Nation’s Mocking The Draft had to say about Ande Branch prior to the season:

Overall, Branch has a ton of upside but needs to make more plays on the field. He needs to develop a better pass rushing arsenal and be more aggressive. This season he will have the opportunity to step out from Da'Quan Bowers shadow and produce. His draft stock could soar with a strong season.
