2012 NFL Draft: Brock Osweiler Officially Announces He Will Go Pro

Record-setting Arizona St. Sun Devils quarterback Brock Osweiler has decided to leave ASU and enter the 2012 NFL Draft, a school announcement made official Friday.

Osweiler was the first quarterback in ASU history to throw for more than 4,000 yards in a season, finishing with 4,036 yards and 26 touchdowns. It’s rumored that the departure of OC Noel Mazzone has a strong effect on the QB leaving the program.

Osweiler was initially expected to hold a press conference but he and his manager decided against it, according to the school. According to the release, he also conferring withnewly hired head coach Todd Graham.

The QB set school records for completions (326), attempts (516) and completion percentage (63.2), and threw for 26 touchdowns, the fourth most in school history.
