The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly will sign Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Babin to a 5-year, $28 million deal Friday, shoring up a defensive line that has already been depleted by injuries.

Babin will reunite with his defensive line coach from last season Jim Washburn, who coached him to his first Pro Bowl last season.
In 2009, Babin, 31, played for the Eagles and notched only 2.5 sacks. Last year, however, he collected 12.5 quarterback scalps, and was lucky enough to break out the year after the Pro Bowl’s failed trip to Miami.
