Newly Signed Ravens C Casey Rabach Reportedly Fails Physical
Rabach, who just signed a two-year deal on Tuesday, failed the physical because of a should injury he suffered last season. The surgery was taken care of this off-season, but the Ravens apparently believed he was still two-three weeks away from returning, eliminating the necessity of signing him and forcing the Ravens to look for another replacement.

Birk has been wearing a wrap on his left knee though we’re not sure of the severity of his injury. Apparently, it’s severe enough to warrant another signing at center so it’s a situation to keep an eye on.
Rabach’s deal is for two years, according to reports, so they could keep him on board if Birk’s knee won’t hold up. There were retirement questions with Birk following the season but he opted for another year.
