Despite its longstanding pedigree as one of the best college basketball conferences in the country, the ACC has just one ranked team this year. Granted, it’s the most important one -- No. 1 Duke. But the Blue Devils are in trouble tonight during a trip to Tallahassee, where the Blue Devils and the Seminoles are switching between a tie game and a slight FSU lead.
No. 1 Duke Vs. Florida State: Blue Devils Facing Challenge In Tallahassee
Duke is shooting below 30 percent from the field right now, while Florida State is knocking down shots at better than a 4-in-10 rate. Chris Singleton and Derwin Kitchen are both in double digits for the Seminoles. Kyle Singler is leading Duke with 13 points.
The Blue Devils, 15-0, are the unanimous top choice in both major polls and are one of just five remaining undefeated teams in the NCAA. Florida State, 11-5, has little more to recommend them besides a win against Baylor; the Seminoles have also lost to a subpar Auburn team.
