Magic Vs. Celtics: Kevin Garnett Returns To Boston Lineup After Nine-Game Absence

The Boston Celtics will take on the Orlando Magic looking to avenge a Christmas Day loss to them, and they'll be able to do it with a full roster. Kevin Garnett, who had missed the previous nine games with a strained right calf, will return to their lineup and start at power forward.

Garnett suffered the injury during a loss to the Detroit Pistons on December 29. In his absence, the Celtics went 6-3, but they will need Garnett to go up against a Magic squad that has begun to find themselves. Rajon Rondo is also healthy and playing after missing the Christmas Day game.

The Magic won nine in a row, but have lost two of their past three games. They stopped the bleeding with a comeback win over Minnesota on Saturday night, but continue to struggle to find consistency after the big trades for Gilbert Arenas, Hedo Turkoglu and Jason Richardson back in December.
